Spokane Software provides mission-critical agricultural ERP and produce traceability software for the fresh produce industry. The platform supports growers, packers, shippers, and distributors in managing the full operational lifecycle of produce, from receiving and inventory through packing, shipping, traceability, and PTI compliance requirements.

Fresh produce is one of the most operationally demanding categories in food distribution. Products are highly perishable, margins are tight, traceability requirements have grown more stringent, and the billing relationships between growers, packers, and buyers involve complex commission and consignment structures that generic software cannot reliably handle. Spokane Software was built specifically for these dynamics.

The company has served the produce industry for years and built a loyal customer base among operators who depend on the platform to run their businesses day to day. The founder, Tim Smith, had built and operated the business for many years before partnering with Solen in December 2025. For the founder, this was a first-time experience selling a business, and the Solen team prioritized making that process clear and manageable from start to finish.

Post-investment, Spokane Software continues to operate as a focused, customer-oriented business within the Solen portfolio, with resources available to reinvest in the platform and grow its presence within the produce industry.
